Known from Lake Albert (Ref. 1739, 55074, 74387) and Lake Edward (Ref. 41590, 47905, 48922, 55074, 56140, 74387). Also reported from affluent rivers and streams of the Semliki River (Ref. 2, 34290), Rutshuru River and its tributary Molindi River (Ref. 2, 56140). Introduced from Uganda and reported from the Lualaba River, but success not sure (Ref. 1739). Also introduced from Lake Albert to the Ituri area (Ref. 106290) and Upper Uele, but only 1 doubtfull record for the latter (Ref. 55074). Also Ref. 5166. |
